The Foundation operates a pooled investment program, providing economy of scale and reducing investment costs/fees. Parishes, schools and Catholic organizations recognized by the Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne are eligible to participate in this program.
The pooled investment program allows Catholic organizations in Wyoming to utilize the expertise of our investment managers and to keep costs low. Those groups who invest with us maintain full ownership, but realize the benefits of pooling funds with other groups. This enables Catholic dollars to go further to accomplish faith-based ministries and programs.
Because individual investors are teamed and the assets are greater than they would be as a standalone fund - the management fees charged by the brokerage firm are much lower. WCMF also charges a nominal fee for administrative costs.
